Dennis Honan

Mr. Honan is a founding partner in BRD Associates, LLC specializing in the business side of Information Technology. His focus is on business/IT alignment, delivering competitive advantage through technology, maximizing return on investment, IT organization and people. He is a proven senior executive and general manager with 37 years of extensive background in operations, information technology and e-commerce. His wide-ranging experience includes the consumer goods, transportation, aerospace and insurance industries in both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business environments. He has successfully managed in the retail, direct marketing/catalog, consumer services, distribution, logistics and manufacturing/overhaul segments within a broad range of organizations from small start-ups to large, multi-location and international businesses.

Honan’s former roles and responsibilities included:

  • Chief Operating Officer at Lands’ End where he directed consumer service and sales, distribution, information technology, direct marketing, corporate sales and finance.
  • Vice President and General Manager of Sears Customer Direct, where he led the development of "Sears.com" and helped establish Sears as a major e-commerce player – bringing the business to profitability one year ahead of plan.
  • General Manager and Senior Vice President of Distribution at Aviall, the world's largest independent provider of aerospace parts, where he was part of the senior management team that led a spin-off from Ryder System.

Brian Moran - Senior Business Solution Advisor

Mr. Moran is a former founding partner in BRD Associates, LLC and today serves as an advisor specializing in business operations strategy and assessment with a focus on project/engagement management and enterprise automation processes.  He has a proven 28 year track record in executive account and business operation management roles including: general management, business channel development, sales and finance management and professional services management. He has overseen and led numerous domestic and international technology projects, coordinating deployment of complex ERP implementations across enterprise boundaries for organizations such as: ChildFund International (formerly Christian Children's Fund) and Goodwill Industries of O.C., and for companies including: Levi Strauss of Canada, US Airways, OpenMobile and Dean Health Systems.

Moran's former roles and responsibilities included:

  • General Manager and VP for the North American Division of COA Solutions Ltd. where he led a multi-million software business including all aspects of P&L management, sales and channel development, professional services, and operations management.
  • VP of Business Development, Planning Systems for Celerity Solutions, Inc. where he led sales and marketing operations and strategic account management associated with the flagship JIT/DRP event-based planning product line.
  • Business Unit Director for Ross System’s where he led a 4M+ technology services unit specializing in application development for the materials management and distribution supply chain. He further led solution consulting and support services for the same unit.

Rob Dachowski – Senior Business Technology Advisor

Rob Dachowski

Mr. Dachowski is a former founding partner in BRD Associates, LLC and currently serves as an advisor specializing in technology architecture, software development, infrastructure, system development lifecycle, and business processes. He is a proven technology executive and architect with 22 years of IT experience in diverse industries such as finance, insurance, hospitality, and footwear/apparel. Moreover, his experience ranges from helping to get startups off the ground to implementing high volume web and transactional applications for corporations such as Fidelity, Aetna US Healthcare and Liberty Mutual. He has successfully managed corporate software development teams for a variety of commercial products as well as enterprise architecture groups for a number of firms.

Mr. Dachowski earned an MBA from Boston University and holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems from Southern NH University.

Dachowski's former roles and responibilities included:

  • Enterprise Technology Officer for Liberty Mutual where he was responsible for developing Liberty's long-term technology strategy. Additionally, he was responsible for working with the various business units to guide them in its implementation.
  • Chief Architect at Aetna US Healthcare where he was responsible for developing Aetna's e-Channel strategy that included high-volume Web, VRU, EDI, and Call Centers.
  • Director of Development for Daylight Software, a Hospitality Industry Software and Services firm, where he was responsible for the architecture, design, and development of the initial commercial product offerings.
